This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies are, how Artemis Petconnect Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses them on the askKynos website and web application, including when installed to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (together, the “Site”), what choices you have, and how to manage your preferences.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal information more broadly. Where cookies collect personal data, our Privacy Policy governs how that data is processed.
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognize your device and remember information about your visit, such as your preferences, login status, and browsing activity.

These cookies help us understand how visitors interact with our marketing website — which pages are visited most and how users navigate between them. This data is aggregated or pseudonymized where feasible (Google Analytics may process identifiers such as IP and device data, so it is not fully anonymous). Analytics cookies run on our marketing website only, not inside the app, where usage is measured using our own first-party data. We use this information to improve our website and product.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies. askKynos does not run advertising tracking pixels (such as a Meta/Facebook Pixel) or advertising SDKs, and we do not use cookies or similar technologies to build advertising profiles about you or to track you across other websites or apps. If this ever changes, we will update this policy before turning on any such tracking.
When you first visit our Site, you’ll see a cookie consent banner that lets you accept or customize your cookie preferences. Here’s how it works:
Your choice is stored in the cookie_consent cookie so the Site remembers your preference. You can change your preferences at any time (see Section 5).
Inside the app we set only essential cookies and first-party functional storage, which do not require consent. The only cookies that require a consent choice are the analytics cookies on our marketing website, which load only after you accept. We currently serve users in the United States; if we expand internationally, we will update our consent approach to meet local requirements.
You can update your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer of our Site. Changes take effect immediately for future cookies; existing cookies from categories you’ve disabled will expire naturally or can be cleared through your browser.

Please note that blocking essential cookies will likely prevent the Site from functioning properly.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting. There is currently no industry standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. We will update this policy if a standard is established. In the meantime, you can use the cookie management options described above to control tracking.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). Some browsers and browser extensions can send a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which certain privacy laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act) treat as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Because askKynos does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, there is no sale or sharing for a GPC signal to stop. We honor GPC to the extent it applies to us, and if our practices ever change, we will treat a valid GPC signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
askKynos runs as a web application, including when you install it to your home screen as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Because the app runs in your browser environment, the cookies and similar technologies described in this policy apply to the app in the same way they apply to the Site, and the cookie preferences you set (see Sections 4 and 5) carry over to the installed app.
If we release native iOS or Android apps in the future, we will update this policy to describe any device identifiers or SDK-based tracking they use and the controls available in your device settings.
