What is askKynos?

askKynos is a pet care app built around understanding your pet. You build a profile with personality, health needs, medications and routines, and askKynos uses that context when helping match your pet with a sitter. It's free, and the same story powers the Vet Assistant and carries across boarding, walking and daycare.

How is askKynos different from other pet sitting apps?

askKynos is designed to match from the pet side — using the needs and history you record, not only proximity and ratings. It also keeps that pet context so future care does not have to begin from scratch.

What pets can I book care for?

Dogs and cats. You can add multiple pets to one account, each with their own vaccination records, medications and care notes.

What services are available?

Boarding, dog walking and pet daycare are available now. House sitting and drop-in visits are coming soon.

Where is askKynos available?

askKynos is available nationwide in the United States in your browser and through the app. Caregiver availability varies by location as the network grows.

Can a sitter give my pet medication?

Yes, if they're comfortable with it. Add the medication, dose and schedule to your pet's story. Smart Match weighs your pet's medication needs against each sitter's experience, and the schedule travels with every booking. During a booking, the sitter can also use the Vet Assistant with your pet's history in view.

Can I bring the sitter I already use?

Yes. Invite them to askKynos. Once they join and are verified, your pet's story is already there, so they start with everything you've recorded.

How much does it cost to start?

The app is free to download and use. You do not need a booking to create your pet's story. Sitters set their own rates, and booking charges are shown before you confirm.

How are sitters verified?

Every sitter is either background-checked through Checkr or approved through Fast-Track, which verifies an established 4.8★+ record on another platform. Verification status is shown on sitter profiles.

What if I need to cancel?

Each sitter chooses a cancellation policy (Flexible, Moderate or Strict), and it's shown before you book, so you know the terms up front.

What is Vet Assistant?

Tell Kynos what you're seeing, and they'll walk you through the right questions using your pet's own story, then tell you plainly what to do next and when to call the vet. It's free with your pet's profile and never replaces your veterinarian.

Who is Kynos?

Kynos is the askKynos guide. They help you build your pet's story, starting with their name, and make the experience feel personal as you move through the app.
